WITH INFORMATION RELATED TO
THE UNITED TURNER RIFLES
COMPANY OF MILITARY HISTORIANS PLATE 530.
The Company of Military
Historians offers a color plate and a brief history of the 20th NYSV
. Scroll down to # 530 and you will
find the 20th New York Volunteer Infantry. The color plate is approximately 11" by 14" and is well
done. I have one of these prints and it
occupies a prominent place in my study.
The plate shows two enlisted men and two officers wearing variations of
their uniforms. One enlisted man holds
a Model 1841 Mississippi rifle, and the other holds a model 1842 smoothbore
musket that they were originally issued.
