COMPANY OF MILITARY HISTORIANS PLATE 530.

 

            The Company of Military Historians offers a color plate and a brief history of the 20th NYSV .  Scroll down to # 530 and you will find the 20th New York Volunteer Infantry.  The color plate is approximately 11" by 14" and is well done.  I have one of these prints and it occupies a prominent place in my study.  The plate shows two enlisted men and two officers wearing variations of their uniforms.  One enlisted man holds a Model 1841 Mississippi rifle, and the other holds a model 1842 smoothbore musket that they were originally issued.
